Terms of Use

These terms apply whenever you access or use Scott County Busted Mugshots. By continuing, you agree to follow them. If you do not accept every term, do not use the site or its linked search features.

Scott County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not connected with any government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. It only helps visitors locate Scott County and Kansas jail and public-record resources.

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference with no authority over a government office or record system. It does not store official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

Pages point toward Scott County Law Enforcement Center records, Kansas corrections resources, courts, federal locators, and independent research tools. Each outside source controls its own information and service.

Acceptable Use Rules

  • Use the site only for lawful purposes.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person.
  • Do not make employment, housing, lending, insurance, or other regulated screening decisions from site information.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security or gain unauthorized access.
  • Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
  • Do not interfere with the site's operation or another visitor's access.

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertisers and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. By using the site, you agree not to use its content for:

Third-Party Links

Links may lead to sheriff, jail, court, booking, corrections, legal-aid, federal, news, or commercial search resources. A link does not mean the destination is endorsed. Scott County Busted Mugshots does not control another site's content, availability, prices, data handling, or terms. Review those terms before proceeding.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

  • information is accurate, complete, or current;
  • access will always be available without interruption;
  • the site is free of defects, bugs, or security weaknesses; or
  • a partner search will find every relevant record.

Custody status, court records, and agency procedures can change quickly. Nothing on the site is an official statement from the Scott County Sheriff, the Law Enforcement Center, Kansas Department of Corrections, a court, or another government agency.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Scott County Busted Mugshots and its owners, operators, and content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site or an outside service.

These terms may be changed at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted. Continued use after a revision means acceptance of the updated terms.

Access May Be Restricted

Where applicable, consumer rights are governed by the Kansas Consumer Protection Act, K.S.A. 50-623 et seq.; these terms do not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be limited or revised only to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
